Set clear expectations, sales goals, and performance metrics for account management staff
· Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews
· Oversee all stages of the customer relationship lifecycle—from prospect qualification to contract fulfillment and account expansion
· Evaluate and approve strategic pursuit plans for high-value accounts
· Review and report on active prospects and pipeline daily, ensuring CRM records are accurate and up to date
· Deliver bi-weekly executive summaries detailing team activity, sales performance, open RFQs, and opportunity status
· Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations to align customer opportunities with internal capabilities and capacity
· Support cross-functional improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue
· Provide market and competitive insights to guide strategy and refine target markets
· Independently develop and pursue new business opportunities in parallel with leading the team
· Demonstrate customer relationship best practices and lead by example in every interaction
Requirements
· 8+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, or business development within electronics manufacturing
· 3+ years of experience in a team leadership or director-level role
· Deep understanding of U.S.-based PCBA, wire harness, and electro-mechanical assembly practices
· Proven ability to manage and motivate high-performing sales and account teams
· High energy, enthusiastic approach to leadership and customer interaction
· Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
· Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze trends, identify growth opportunities, and manage competing priorities
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
· Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and executive teams
· Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to travel occasionally for site visits, customer meetings, and trade shows
